Why is an engagement session included complimentary in your wedding packages?
All of our collection options include a complimentary engagement session. It is a HUGE part of our process – both so you can see how we work and so we can all get to know one another before the wedding! Plus, you get some great photos as my gift to you. If you would like to see our collections and what else they include, please contact me. Because they are a gift, they cannot be substituted for anything else.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
YES! We LOVE to travel for weddings. It’s one of our favorite things to do. We don’t charge travel fees for anything inside 120 miles from our home location – this includes travel for engagement sessions too!
Do you offer mini sessions?
We only offer mini sessions to our newsletter subscribers and only October-December. You can subscribe here: I want freebies!

How many images do you deliver?
I found this great quote recently that explains perfectly what to expect in terms of the amount of photos you will receive. It varies by photographer but generally we typically average between 50-100 images per hour of coverage.
Roughly 50-100 per hour of coverage is standard for a professional photographer. Anything more than that is overkill and tends to be redundant, rendering it completely unnecessary. A true professional will bide their time and take carefully planned out photographs as opposed to taking a million and hoping that one or two come out okay. Think of it this way….would you rather have 300 AMAZING photographs, or 2000 kind of okay photographs? 250-350 photos per hour is absolutely insane, in my opinion. That’s promising 5-6 good images per minute. There is pretty much never 5-6 interesting things happening each and every minute at a wedding. With those sort of numbers you will likely end up with tons of what are essentially the same image. So unless you really want 65 photos of your bouquet or shoes, I would not really worry about finding a photographer that offers that many photos. A skilled photographer should be able to concisely tell the story of your day in roughly 300-600 images, give or take.
