Alex + Erik
Beautiful Backyard Wedding in Granite Bay, California
This beautiful backyard wedding in Granite Bay, California was far from the typical backyard wedding. It was downright glamorous! Alex and Erik tied the knot in the absolutely stunning backyard of one of their family friends. Their ceremony was filled with laughter and heart felt vows spoken in front of their closest family and friends. Alex was dubbed the Scorpion Bride during her bachelorette party because while they were partying it up in Arizona, she got stung by a scorpion! Talk about an awesome story and her bridal party paid tribute to it by getting her a robe with Scorpion Bride inscribed on it as well as putting on temporary scorpion tattoos on their ankles!
The bride and groom exchanged gifts – Alex received a necklace and bracelet with coordinates on them while Erik got a very sexy book to look at before the wedding! His reaction when he opened it was priceless!
Speaking of reactions, they didn’t do a first look so Erik saw his stunning bride for the first time coming down the aisle. I was crouched down in front of him and heard him murmur, “Wow!” under his breath. Alex definitely looked absolutely stunning.
After the ceremony, the party continued at the Blue Goose in Loomis where the setting took a rustic turn with amazing Mexican food for dinner and Thunder Cover as the surprise band playing on stage into the night. These two deserve all the best as they are genuinely one of the nicest and down to earth couples ever. Take a look at some of their amazing day here!
Thank you to all the amazing vendors who made this day possible!
