Palace of Fine Arts Engagement Session
Stephanie and Christian’s Palace of Fine Arts engagement session was definitely one for the books. I had never shot at this location before and maaaaaybe deciding to go during Memorial Day weekend wasn’t the best idea I ever had. BUT, these two are the most laid back, kind and fun couple, they made this session a breeze. Even when their shots were bombarded by tourists, interrupted by crazy children and even the occasional tourist who decided it was also their job to take pictures of them.
These two took it ALL in stride and I have to say, they even managed to be adorable and romantic with the crowds. Can we also talk about how classy these two looked in their outfits?? Gah! I couldn’t have chosen better outfits if I had tried! Despite all the crowds, the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco is a stunning backdrop. I’m a sucker for architecture, especially columns and ornate detailing in the stone so this place was perfection! Add in a beautiful pond with birds flying everywhere and lush greenery with the sun dipping just perfectly behind everything during golden hour and oh boy, I was in (a very crowded) heaven.
After walking around taking photos at the Palace of Fine Arts we walked across the street and changed gears. These two put on their Giants gear and we hopped over to the beach for some photos with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Because you can’t do a San Francisco engagement session without having photos with the bridge. You just can’t. I love how comfortable these two are together and I cannot wait for their wedding this year!
Take a little peek at their session down below.
